A correspondent of Zvezda visited the Petersburg plant of the Roselectronic holding company and took exclusive shots in the waters of the Gulf of Finland of the testing of "Filin".
According to the British "Times" the frigate "Admiral Gorshkov", is equipped with the visual-optical interference installation "Filin", causing, according to the publication, hallucinations in enemy combatants.
It is noted that the installation neutralizes sights, range finders, night vision devices and guidance systems for anti-tank guided missiles at a distance of up to five kilometers.
Russian developers say Filin is effective and more humane than Western versions of the weapon that irreparably damage vision.
