In Nizhnekamsk, the surveillance camera recorded the time of the attack of a young man armed with a knife at police major Dinara Samatov, who died as a result of his wounds.
The attack on Dinara, who smoked outside the city police department, occurred at 09:42 am on March 22. The footage shows how the 19-year-old Rustam Kodirov stops behind the 33-year-old district police officer, pulls out a knife from his pocket and strikes them three times in the neck. The policeman tried to detain the intruder, but he threw down the bleeding guard of the order and began to finish off. Dinara's colleagues rushed out to shouting from the squad, but Rustam immediately attacked them. Senior Lieutenant Yuriy Randoshkin managed to pull out a pistol and opened fire to without warning shots, mortally wounding the criminal - the bullets hit the stomach and chest.
Samatov died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, he left a young spouse.
On the motives of the neutralized attacker is not reported. Eyewitnesses claim that during the attack, he shouted extremist slogans.
