Dutch foreign minister Stef Blok on Thursday met Malaysian families who lost loved ones when Malaysian Airlines MH17 was shot down over Ukraine four years ago. Blok's low-key meeting in Kuala Lumpur was to brief the Malaysians on action being taken by the Netherlands and other countries over the case. The Netherlands has said it holds Russia responsible for providing the missile that brought down the jet, causing the deaths of all 298 people aboard. Two thirds of the victims were from the Netherlands. International investigators last year said they had strong evidence the Buk missile system that shot down the Boeing 777 plane came from a Russia-based military unit. Russia has denied involvement.
