This is the moment a man drives his Volkswagen Golf into the sea at high speed where it had to be towed out after being dared to pull the reckless stunt by a pal.
The bizarre incident took place in the town of Shelly Beach, in eastern South Africa's KwaZulu - Natal province and was caught on the CCTV cameras of a local ski-boating club.
In the video, a green Volkswagen Golf can be seen speeding across the sand towards the sea when the driver does not stop and goes straight into the water.
