A tanker truck hauling about 8,000 gallons of gasoline went over an embankment and crashed at the railroad tracks near the Clairton Coke Works Monday night.
Surveillance video shows the truck barreling through the intersection of Walnut Avenue and North State Street as it came down a hill, then passing by a parking lot and crashing into a thick section of trees at the embankment.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A nearby restaurant was evacuated as a precaution.
The local fire chief said the truck apparently had brake trouble coming down the hill.
