San Diego, CA - In San Diego detectives were investigating a shoot-out August 3, 1979. during which police shot dead a twenty-five-year-old man, Samuel , after he had allegedly held up a television news crew at gun-point. Five shots were fired and fell mortally wounded. He died in hospital two hours later. Police claim had held up a television crew which was interviewing residents in the Knicerbocker Hotel about redevelopment in the area. Police say that drew a pistol on the crew and refused to lay down his weapon when asked
